2002 US-China Business Forum (New York)

Co-organized by USCEA, Columbia University, US Department of Commerce, US Small Business Administration and other state trade agencies and organizations, 2002 US-China Business Forum was held at Columbia University of New York City at May 29, 2002.

Professor N.T. Wang, Director of China-International Business Project, Columbia University and Dr. George Wang, President of USCEA, co-hosted the forum. Mr. Michael Pappas, Regional Administrator of US SBA and former Congressman, Ms. Cheryl McQueen, Director of Office of China Economic Area, US Department of Commerce, Mr. Limin Wang, Deputy Governor of Heilongjiang Province of China, Ms. Milica Boskovic, Director of IntĄŻl Business Division of New York City MayorĄŻs Office, Mr. Jerry Shaye, Director of IntĄŻl Trade Development of New York State Department of Economic Development, Mr. Joseph Gonzalez, President of New Jersey Commerce & Industry Association, Mr. Weiwen He, Commercial Counselor of Chinese Consulate General in New York, Mr. David Shih, Director of China Center of Pennsylvania State Department of Economic & Community Development, Mr. Michael Jemal, President of Haier America Corp, Mr. Larry Harper, President & CEO of Ballantrae International, Ltd, and Ms. Jina Xu, Vice President of USCEA delivered welcome remarks and keynote speeches to the more than 200 US and Chinese attendees.
